Error message when hitting button while remote is sleeping

If you pick up the remote while it’s sleeping and press a button, before the remote is awake, it will tell you that the device you’re attempting to operate isn’t communicating. Appropriately so. But that error message stays on the screen until you hit cancel or try again. Is it possible for that message to time-out and disappear after a given amount of time so I don’t have to press one of those choices? This would be good.

Go to settings on the remote and change retry command value to 6 seconds, thats the sweet spot i found. (i dont have rhe remote infont of me so cant remember the exact setting name but its easy to find)

Firmware 2.8.1 has an option that the remote resends the command upto 10 seconds if it fails. With this option you should have a delay but no message. You find this option only directly on the remote in settings, power saving. Increase the vale to 10 seconds.

That setting was on 10 secs and I just moved it to 6.

Next time count how long it takes before the message appears. Perhaps the is a slow device/integration involved.
