Subject: Epson Projector HDMI-CEC / HDMI Link disable settings
Hi everyone,
I am configuring my Remote Two with an Epson projector, a Samsung soundbar, and a FeinTech HDMI switch. To prevent handshake issues, I need to completely disable all HDMI-CEC traffic on the projector.
In the Epson menus, this is called ‘HDMI Link’. I have already turned it off in the main menu and disabled HDMI-CEC inside the Android TV / Projectivity Launcher settings. However, the projector still seems to send an electrical or CEC pulse over HDMI when booting up from standby, which crashes my eARC audio handshake.
Does anyone know if there is a deep hidden setting or a specific firmware trick to completely block the HDMI Link / CEC broadcast on this Epson model? Thanks!
