Hey everyone, i am releasing my latest integration: Emotiva Audio/Video Processors.
This is another Blind Integration, meaning i do not own an emotiva device and therefore with any issue, bug, feature, etc. - please provide detailed description and the logs so i can help.
This integration should support multi device, single device, media player and remote entities for emotiva product line, please make sure to read the comprehensive README file on Github to ensure the correct ports are allowed on your network. Enjoy.
I have an RMC-1+ and I already have this running. The basics works quite well. The biggest thing missing in my opinion are speaker trim controls ( center, subs, wides, surrounds, heights). The data is available in the published network API doc. I actually got this temporarily working in home assistant but an HACS update broke it. It would be great to have these trims added to this integration directly. Thanks for building this and let me know how I can assist/support.
In the long run, nirvana would be to have these tied to notification data so the remote would display current state for volume, trims, surround mode, source, etc. - full two way communication. The tech is there to do it. But for now, just being able to + or - on any given speaker trim would be a big win.
Find me on discord, send me the published api and we can incorporate this. i dont own the device etc so i cant test, but if the api is there logic should be simplified. find me on discord on the unfolded community here Unfolded Chat , send me the api reference, a pic of the remote so i can understand which buttons and a short explanation what trim control means for this specific device so i can follow a long and should be doable, if you willing to test. i am leaving tomorrow for 2 weeks snowboarding trip so lets try today or when im back to add this support
I have an XMC-2+ and installed the integration yesterday – great work! I would love to see additional functionality, specifically selecting speaker presets, different equalizations (dirac vs user). Also I was unable to configure the slider to work with the volume control.
