During the first setup the remote can’t find the dock, it is connected with a network cable what to do
UTP? I connected my docks with a cable and were detected at once. Problems can be usage of vlan or mdns not routed. Look into your router, find the IP of your dock and use IP instead of mdns in the remote.

It is connected with a network cable, there is no orange light blinking on the dock. The dock gets his power from POE.
Did you try USB power?
