Dock - Control Button Not reacting

I received the remote for today, plus dock.
Connecting the remote worked, but pairing with the dock not.
The LED is not blinking, it just shows setting up Wi-Fi on the display.

I have tried to press the control button to reset the device.
Nothing happens.
The control button, or better say area does not seem to work.
I have tried many times now.

Any ideas?

You have to press the control button quite hard for it to work. The tactile feeling is not great imo. My recommendation is to connect the dock via ethernet for initial setup and then enter the wifi credentials in the web configurator. After that powercycle the dock and you should be good to go.

It took a while for me either, until I recognized, that it is not a sensor button, but needs really to be pushed down. But once you do it, you can feel it, and in the future it is easy to handle.

What worries me about this area at the dock is, that they have chosen such a sensitive to scratches material, exactly there, where you fit in the remote for charging.

Thanks, oh yes one has to press pretty hard - had not thought of that. Did not want to break it.
Good new is, that worked. I also connected via cable and it got an IP - I could select it. Something went wrong when I entered my Wifi stuff and since then I cannot get the remote or webconf to connect to it.
It is not found.
The web interface of the doch shows up in my browser - but it does not connect via bluetooth so I can add it to the remote.
Been trying for an hour again. Reset the doch several times. The remote simply does not find it anymore. Help please

Have you tried to keep the dock connected via ethernet and then add it in the web configurator? Once that works you can add the wifi credentials, unplug the ethernet and power cycle the dock. I would also set your router to always assign the same IP address to the dock.

Success - finally!!! A part of the doch was in the remote - so I had to delete it in the remote - after that the setup via Ethernet worked and then also wifi - Thanks for your help. This nearly drove me nuts
