I had the same non-charging issue. If you still have the remote, you can fix by factory resetting the dock.
I do still have the remotes and docks.
The dock I have for sale in this ad is a “Non-Charging” version, it lacks the charging port as can be seen in the pictures.
However, the one dock I have/had that I was having issues with did not fix itself after a factory reset. It is currently at UC getting repaired.
