Delays? maximum or in sequence?

Delays? Im trying to set a 2 min delay and there seems to be a limit. 60,000Ms =1 minute. is there a limit? Ive tried two delays one after another but the remote just locks up. Thoughts/experience?

Out of interest why do you need such a long dealy?

when I turn off all my equipt (projector etc) I want the lights to stay on for 2 min for me to exit the room

Can you not just add in multiple delay steps?

yes i tried that and it would lock up. Im guessing there is a limit of time per delay, but dont know what it is!

Do you use Home Assistant?

Yes, there is a limit of 60 seconds

yes i do, my lights are in HA

ok thanks ! so 60sec=1mn =60,000ms!

So if you have HA one option maybe to use the Sensor provided by the UC integration in HA for charging status and create an automation that looks for the R3 sensor going from discharging to charging then creating a delay before turning off your lights. Appreciate thats not ideal in all scenarios but I assume you don’t have a presence sensor in your room or you would use that. Another option would be to use the off state of your projector to trigger the automation assuming that is available via an integration in HA.

The limit of 60 seconds is PER activity. This is a total amount so doing multiple delays inside an activity won’t work if the total time to complete the activity goes above 60 seconds.

My workaround was to nestle an activity inside an activity.

Thanks greatly appreciate
