Well, I’m at the point have a bunch of gui elements buttons, backgrounds, ect. Started configuring the interface by creating a single activity with pages for all the devices I would like to control which consists of
Main Page = media widget +four buttons light in the room and menu ect
Page for Apps
Page for AV receiver control
Page for TV controls
Page for Home Assistant
The basic Idea was copy the activity alter a few button mapping or change a few page elements to create new activity’s and keep everything consistant. Right now I have about six activity’s setup in three rooms, Living room, Theater, Bedroom.
Living room and Theater is the same room the only difference is what will be used for sound output TV vs AV reciever.
I also have added 138 custom icons and 10 custom integrations
Now the web interface is feeling a lot slower and clunker then when I started
what is the likely reason for the slow down??
R2 or R3? The R3 ist quite a bit faster. I have a similar setup but with 5 rooms + an additional page. I cannot complain about speed with my R3. My R2 feels slower. Pages with a lot of icon widget can take some time.

R3
How many icons are you use think I might have gone over board with them
106 but it think number of icons in an activity is more important and there i only have around 40 in a lot of activities.
Very important is also the device you are using for configuration as all pages are dynamic generated. My PC works 3-4 times faster than my Tablet.
Ralf
Have you tried to reload the page? I noticed that the web configurator gets very slow after adding large numbers of entities and might also do the same after uploading a lot of icons.
I reloaded the page and it seemed to help a lot
Got the remote mostly working the way I want, wife is using it so all is well but want to push the limits a little more so as from the topic of this post are there defined limits and what are they?
This question really depends on your usecases and devices. Just try what you want to do and if something doesn’t work just ask what you could do to make it work.
Someone wrote that there might be a limit of 1000 custom icons.
There is a limit of 10 custom (uploaded) integrations.
Up to now I don’t found any limits for entities and activities. At the moment I have 27 activities.
Ralf
Yes. I can confirm there is a limit of 1000 custom icons.
The good news is there is another 1000 available in the TV channels tab.
But you can use more integrations if you run them externally (e.g. via Docker).
If you want to increase WAF and create a GUI with almost unlimited possibilities @harvey28 is your man. ThreatDisplay found a trick to create amasing GUIs and harvey put it to the limits. So for GUI harvey is your guy.

Don’t forget your own contribution, Ralf!
Bronze on the Icons App. Not too shabby!
I agree with @harvey28, @HarmonyFan don’t cut yourself short
Without your help / knowledge and logic, I would not be able to figure out the android app view logic. Respect is given when respect is earned and due. Thank you
And thank you @harvey28 for being this community (un) official design guru
