I’ve had some great support from the Unfolded Circle community in setting up my Remote 3. Such a steep learning curve! Anyhow, I thought I’d try to make a small contribution back by describing how I went about creating some pretty cool custom icons for my entities, integrations and activities.
Basically I Googled e.g. “Sky TV icon” and went to the image tab, right-click copied an image I liked and then pasted into an Adobe Photoshop doc. Resized to 160 x 160 pixels at 72 ppi and saved as JPEG in a dedicated folder for custom icons. Depending on where you are in the R3 Web configurator you can then click on an icon to edit, click custom and then browse to upload your image. You may need to do some adjusting of the icon box to get it fitting nicely, but 160 x 160 pixels gives you a good starting point. Click again on the uploaded icon and that should be it.
