Does anyone know how I can integrate a Celexon screen with IR remote control or bluetooth remote control? I can’t teach the IR codes with the dock.

Have you tried the codes from Global Caché? (Database | Global Caché Control Tower)

Yes, sure I did. And other suggestions from google findings.

Did you google findings include Remote Central (everyone points to Global Cache, but sometimes there’s a pearl on RC).

Thanks, but no, that doesn’t work either. It’s frustrating since to enable the IR to control also my screen was one of the main reasons to opt for this RC.

Did you check the correct output device in the entity settings? Did you try the internal emitter? Did you try to use the blaster instead of the dock?
If nothing works you could still use the remote with a Broadlink RM4 Pro that has much better IR coverage according to many users and even supports RF (433 MHz).

I’m pretty sure that I’ve tried what’s possible and since I’ve set up successfully many devices (entities) including learning or importing particular IR commands with no problems I wouldn’t know what to try else. I can’t believe that there isn’t a way to “extract” these three IR commands (up, stop, down) from the original RC. I’ve even tried with arduino but didn’t find a working setup (YouTube has some tutorials however none worked) :man_shrugging:t2:

There are ir protocols the remote can’t learn or send. This is also mentioned in the footnotes on UCs website.
Do you see any message on the Dock screen when trying to learn the codes like “Unknown”? That might be an indicator for an unspported protocol. There plans to implement a raw learning function but there is no ETA for this.
