Can I upload integrations with Beta 1.9.4?

I’m currently running Beta 1.8.0 so I could try the Bluetooth integration. It works great.

I’d like to upgrade so I can try the Community LG integration.
If I go up to 1.9.4, can I load the integration to the remote without having to run a separate hosting computer?

Yes, you can but you currently need to use the API to upload the integration as described here core-api/doc/integration-driver/driver-installation.md at main · unfoldedcircle/core-api · GitHub

So it’s not straightforward yet.

I was hoping you could hit ‘upload integration’ and point the remote to the file location on a PC.

I’d rather not get involved with Linux commands.

Will the interface ever allow point and click to upload external integrations?

You can also use the WebInterface. Log into the WebInterface, enter PIN and go back one step to see this again:
grafik
now choose core-api rest and scroll down until you see

when you open install scroll down until you see try out and select it

here you can select your integration and then press execute.

When a stable firmware will be released you can also use the web configurator to upload the file. The current beta firmwares are aimed at developers to optimize their integrations.

Many thanks for these clear instructions.

I’ve upgraded and have now uploaded Albaintor’s LG integration.

Yes, the instructions are helpful. Looking forward to a Harmony configured tar.gz for direct, without anyone saying this is just for developers ad nauseum. The developer there has done herculean efforts to containerize, etc but hoping for on remote.

Hello

How to install beta firmware?

Thanks

In the Web Configurator, got to Settings - Remote - Software Update and enable Beta updates.
