In the 90s, some company had this great ad about searching for your remote that’d always get lost and the TV had some kinda button to beep the remote.
The Unfolded Circle also has a speaker, and it makes beeps too, but you can’t programmatically do that. I have 4 kids and my wife. While I can keep track of the remote because it always has its place, I can’t say the same for everyone else.
It would be insanely helpful if the remote could be remotely beeped through the Web UI, API, or Home Assistant.
