Can an HA script or API call switch the active activity on the Remote 3? Use case - single TV with two different sources plugged into it. Can a button from the “source 1” activity page change the source AND activity page to “source 2”? I’m not seeing anything in the docs saying this is possible. Thanks!
Guess not. This would seem like a desirable roadmap item.
Not possible at the moment. You can start and end activities but you cannot control the GUI from an external source.

Seamless integration (and syncing) with home automation activity a ‘real activity’ is a challenge without such feature.
Even jumping between pages is not implemented yet.
As long as such basics features are not implemented, the YIO will not provide acceptable UIX to non-geeks engineers (said differently: nobody at home will accept to dive in the complexity of the device just to watch TV…)
If it is simple to watch TV is not really the problem of the remote alone but also depending on the guy who is configuring the remote. My Watch TV activities are simple, easy to understand and to 99% rock solid. I am to 90% on IP, 5% BlueTooth and 5% IR.
