Android TV Integration - Missing command "Input Selection"

I’m using the Android TV Integration on my Bravia-TV.

I’m missing the Command for the button “Input Selection” (see red arrow on picture).

Did I miss something there?

Hi,

On discord someone created a custom Sony entity for the request integration.

If you want to stay with Android TV I might have some bad news. On my Philips Android TV TV commands for real TV operations are not commands they are app starter. This means you press the button and an App ist started. org.droidtv.channels for instances starts the input selector on my philips. With Android TV you cannot start a lot of Apps anymore because Google changed something.

Perhaps the request entity already has what you want.

ADB integration has separate commands for HDMI 1..4 for several brands.

To make it clearer: I only use the power and volume commands from the integration. Everything else comes from the AVR or the source devices.
That’s why the input menu is a “nice-to-have,” but not a “must-have.”

Ok then you don’t get it.

What makes me angry is that Google defined commands for direct HDMI switching but neither Sony nor Philips not others use them.

I am disappointed that Android TV still has no remote entity which would make it more versatile. Instead of macros one could use command sequences.
