Adding Home Assistant entities to UC3

When I setup the Home Assistant integration I selected a small number of HA entities to be exposed to the remote but I had plenty to choose from. I’d like to add a few more but can’t for the life of me work out how.

If I go to Integrations → Integrations → Home Assistant and click the + to the right of ‘Configured entities’ I can add more HA entities but I only see 39 entities showing. There’s no filters applied so I’d expect to see a lot more.

I wondered if I needed to step through the integration setup again but I only see the same 39 entities there.

What am I doing wrong?

I forgot to say, I updated to firmware v2.6.3 this morning but I had the same problem with the previous firmware (I forget the version number).

If you have not seen it yet, there is a HACS integration which makes sharing of entities between HA and the remote easier.

Regarding your problem, I vaguely remember instances where not all HA entities would be shown for selection. Have you tried typing the name of an entity you want to add in the search field. I seem to remember that this would then also bring up entities previoulsly not shown.

I’ve got the HACS integration setup but all I see that doing is exposing some UC entities into HA - battery % and so on. I’ll check if there’s another integration or if I need to reconfigure this one.

Yeah, I’ve tried searching for an entity by name but nothing is found.

EDIT - I see there’s more config needed on the HACS integration, I’ll experiment with that now.

All sorted - thanks for pointing out the HACS integration. I needed to go in to there and expose the entries to UC from within there.
