Samsung TV Integration - Power On/Off Not Working

Has anyone gotten the discrete power on/off to work with Samsung smart TVs? For me, they all act as a toggle and to make matters worse, even though I have my activities part of the same Activity Group, when I switch from one activity to another it turns off my TV. Anyone have any thoughts (I’m using an R3)?

The Samsung integration has 3 power modes. On. Off. And Toggle.

For activities i wouldnt use the Toggle function since it quickly gets “out of sync” that way.

The problem is that “On” and “Off” don’t work - they work just like a toggle if they work at all.

hmm works perfectly on my Samsung OLED 2023 model.

Is your TV newer than 2017?

Yes, I have the Samsung QN65QN90AAFXZA, which is much newer than 2017. I’ll try those discrete codes which were posted. Those codes require communication via IR, right (I was hoping to get it working with the Samsung integration)?

I’m using a mixture of IR, the Samsung TV integration and the Smartthings integration with my Samsung TV’s. IR for power on and off, the Samsung TV integration for most other things including launching Apps, and the Smartthings integration for discrete HDMI selection as that functionality doesn’t appear to work using the Samsung TV integration
