Remote 3 + Fire TV Cube / Sony TV

Hi guys,

first of all I would say that I totaly like this peace of hardware. It’s looks so nice and the material which is used is really smooth :grinning_face:
Unfortunalety the software could be better, I have some entities I use, but two of them, a Sony Bravia 4K TV and a Fire TV Cube causes trouble.
I paired the Remote 3 with my Sony TV and also with my Fire TV box (Both of them uses Bluetooth!)
But i figured out some issues:

Sony TV Button mapping : Everything works well, but I couldn’ t get the hardware OK Button running, it has no function equal which command I use

Fire TV Button mapping: Volume Up/Down and Power didn’t work

Any ideas how to solve that?

For Sony I would use Android TV because I think this is the OS of most Sony. Fire TV itself has no volume it is forwarded to TV or soundsystem.

thanks your right, but FireTV has Volume Buttons on their remote :thinking:

I think you must configure them. Either CEC or IR learning. I always use in activities with Fire TV either volume of TV or AVR.
