Well, I’ve pinged my TV. It’s not disappearing. Something in the R3 driver is simply crashing out mid-session. I can power off one activity and power on another (in an activity group) and the device will no longer work without deleting the entity. It’s disappointing. I’m going to go back to controlling the TV through Home Assistant, as that has proved rock solid.
For the record, if I add the R3 as a bluetooth remote, there is no profile that has power on and off (only toggle), so it’s essentially unusable.
