Plex on AndroidTV/nVidia Shield not reponding after multiple presses for a few seconds?

Hi all,

I’ve noticed a problem with my Plex control running on my nVidia Shield. When I press the FF (skip ahead) once, it immediately responds, if I press it multiple times, it stops responding for a few seconds, then it responds. I don’t know if this is a Plex only thing or if its AndroidTV system wide. I’ve connected the nVidia Shield to my R3 via both AndroidTV integration via IP and Bluetooth pairing and have tried both FF or REW buttons mapped to my R3 and both protocols respond in a smiliar way.

Has anyone else experienced this before?

Is there a better place to ask? I was pointed to Discord (I am new to this and discord) but it seems like a huge long thread/conversation and not really posts or questions and answers?

I have something similar with Plex where it seems to bog down the remote when anything is playing. Plex seems to be the only app that does this for me.

And yes, Discord isn’t great for organisation of topics, etc. which is why I don’t feel it’s a good place for support, etc. and why I don’t want to use it.

Thanks @cobhc good to know its only a Plex thing. It doesn’t happen with the nVidia bluetooth remote, only the R3. Is there any other place to ask this? Maybe a Plex forum?
