I am having an issue getting the LG Integration to recognise my LG TV. When I first try and setup the integration it finds my TV and then gives a Timeout error setting it up. After that it won’t find my TV again if I use the ‘Try Again’ button and I have to delete and reload the integration. Anyone else had a similar problem or any ideas how to resolve please. ---

I didn’t get the LG integration to work with my LG OLED tv. I installed the predefined ir-package that is already available in the webconfig to control my LG tv - this works flawlessly. You can do this by going to Entities \> (+) \> Add new device / Infrared \> next: ![IMG_9502](https://unfolded.community/uploads/default/original/1X/77a35802ebdf3e4b1a2aa5686daa771257b3c596.jpeg) Select generic tv 1. Done. Make sure your dock or blaster are near your tv. ---

I had this issue, for me it was because the TVs were in a different room and you need to confirm on the TV before it times out. ---

LG TV Integration works perfect here (C4). SSDP on the TV enabled? ---

SSDP ? Where is that in the TV menu please ? I know I can use the IR codes but would prefer IP if poss. ---

There’s a known bug in core that if an integration fails during setup, it won’t reload. You need to uninstall and then re-install. Timeout would suggest that you’re not accepting the prompt on the TV to accept the connection from the remote. You should also make sure Mobile TV On is selected (for my particular TV that’s availabe in settings → connection) ---

Thanks - I wasnt in the same room as the TV so missed the prompt. All good now.
