Integration Ideas 2.0

Awesome for you to open this up and lend a hand.

I would love to see an integration for NAD AVRs. You can see a list of the available docs here: T 758 V3 - NAD Electronics (under other). Those RS232 command archives have ethernet commands in the docs.

HA also has a NAD integration: NAD - Home Assistant .

Also would love to see a Sony Bravia integration (but second on my list to the NAD). API documentation here: braviaproapi - Sony Bravia API Client — braviaproapi documentation . There’s also an HA integration for this as well: Sony Bravia TV - Home Assistant

You can drop the Bravia integration (replaced the TV yesterday with an LG G5 so albaintor’s integration works great). Still would love to see the NAD one if you ever have the time (and others want it). Know you’re focused on the Android App (which is fantastic by the way).

thank you, yeah. pretty occuped with the android app…

NAD integrartion complete: NAD AV Integration

how many people interested in Lyngdorf and can commit to testing and providing 1l1 feedaback during development?

Apart from myself, obviously. M.as.e, in case you do decide to work on this, for which I would be very grateful, I will myself be on leave for the next two weeks. Happy New Year and looking forward to your next integrations!

Happy to test the integration with my TDAI1120. However, it might take a few days before I am fully back online because of a power outage.

Interested, TDAI 1120, although I’m not sure how much I can technically contribute. Willing yes. Also I’d be satisfied with a Home Assistant version. It’s been a while since I’ve messed with my R2 or HA, so there may be something available.

There is a HA integration for Lyngdorf devices which has recently been updated to support more models:

sounds like maybe Lyngdorf is not the best one for now as we have total of 3 users, 1 want it , 1 busy , 1 good with HA lol .

Thx… I’ll check it out when I get around to R2 maintenance. Obviously would prefer an integration, but HA is a viable alternative

Poll is already over, isn’t it? So there were no interest in Panasonic VIERA?

Anthem - Complete
Cambridge Audio - Complete
NAD Devices - Complete

I dont think anyone else asked for Panasonic VIERA @Duddits , i think you are the first.
I dropped Lyngdort because not enough people wanted it.
EDIT: i am looking at panasonic viera now lol. @Duddits can you please help test it?

JBL Soundbars, I personal have the JBL Bar 9.1, but their are many different versions.
(Bar 2.0, Bar 2.1, Bar 3.1, Bar 5.1, Bar 9.1, Bar 300, Bar 500, Bar 800, Bar 1000, Bar 1300)

The older versions <= 9.1 have an JBL Setup app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wifiaudio.harmanbar).
Documentation of the JBL Bar 9.1: Bar 9.1 True Wireless Surround | 9.1 Channel Soundbar System with surround speakers and Dolby Atmos® , https://www.jbl.com/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-masterCatalog_Harman/default/dw73cc4970/pdfs/JBL_SB_Bar%209.1_3D_SURROUND_Owner’s%20Manual_EN.pdf
The following ports are open on the JBL Bar 9.1, though I’ve yet to find if they expose any kind of hidden API: 7000, 8008, 8009, 9000, 10001.

I found an HA integration for the newer versions >= 300. This integration is only usable if you’re also able to use the ‘JBL one’ app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jbl.oneapp).
