How can I do what my Harmony Elite does now?

I’m seeing same logic in main. INTERNAL=14 and changing it to 4. Still no luck but will replace full block with above and comment out the other entries

Latest branch with the one change of 14 to 4.

Success!!!
Thank you. No narrow beam remote and a regular dock where convenient to recharge. Success.
Will upload another with a new kit. Thank you.

Hi,

glad you made it. Alex is working hard on the integration too and he made a wonderful job so far, and of course Petch who initiated the integration.
Now we have to document the procedure and advertise it

I thought I learned a great deal with Home Assistant, now I am learning again. My appreciation to all making this project work and particular thanks to help and old timer to learn new tricks with your great patience.

Just created another room IR recognized as a dock device. Easy peasy now.

I have noticed lots of red bars, takes many seconds for remote to connect. I doubt this is due to my very cool new IR blaster.

Hi
It‘s my first post here. I just ordered the Esp32 with IR transmitter. You mentioned that you think about a guide how to flash the esp and integrate it in UCR2. Is there already any guide available? I only have a little experience with ESP and would appreciate it

I wish I could be more hopeful. If I hadn’t stumbled my way with HA famiarizarion to get some of the ling, it was all oucking the right branch of the project with matching to the compinents. Newert branches add greater number of component configuration.

Without Albator’s great patience as I muddled through Platform.io as a devsystem within a system and recalibrating from compiling to configure/loading. It took my old programming skills (to the point whete none of those skills may have made me get it faster). Also dont plug into betwork while plugged into power when downloading.

I bought two of each component to build a second device because I questioned if I could repeat the steps again. Im prating the API doesnt change to the point where i pull out the old laptop and try again.

I was able to build but not to connect the ESP32 to my Macbook Pro M3. The problem seams to be the UART Driver, which is blocked by the MAC OS. So the board is not even recognized by the OS. Dos someone have some experience with this issue?

Im no help on Mac drivers or OS USB connection overrides (this wasveasy on pc laptop) but saw this Physically Connecting to your Device — ESPHome.

Thanks a lot. It seems I even struggle to find out how to activate the programming mode on ESP32-esp-iso. Normaly it should be a bridge between GND and IO1 while booting. Is it different for this device?
btw I spend hours already to figuer it out

I had noting to do ther than connect in the ir component and put it in the box. There was no real electronics assembly connection other than inserting the micro-usb connector for comm and power.

Finally I was able to get it up and running. I spend hours to find out that my brand new usb cable was crap. On top I had to do some soldering as I ordered the MOD-IRDA+ instead of MOD-IRDA. Well, in the end it doesn’t matter as I could connect the projector with the AVR by wire (trigger).
