I now have the remote for several days but would appreciate if you can give me some start help. My issue: I have two main activities, one for DVBT with TV and AVR and one for Chromecast Apps (esp. Waipu + Netflix) with TV, AVR and Chromecast. I think I need different activities because I need diffent button configurations. How do I realize a switch between both activities? I can go back to main screen without ending that activity. But when I go back to that activity it is already on and needed script (e.g. source selection) is not done. Any hint?

Both activities need to be in the same activity group. Usally all activities are already in the standard group and when you start a new activity the other activity is stopped and all devies that are not used anymore will be powered off while others that are in both will remain on.
If you do not want to power off all devices when switching activities you can set it up that way, e.g., when I swich between ApplTV dece and Tivo I switch my AVR input and no crazy waiting or state of devices going out of sync.
Look at the options unde activity group, I use turn of entities never as a group switching behavior.
