Hi all, anyone else been playing with the voice commands? Has anyone figured out how to get a voice response? All my requests come back as text instead.
Voice response from the remote? I could be wrong, but I doubt that is supported.
But in the meantime, voice commands are working very well and very fast!
I did think that, but the support article here mentions the below.
Speech Response
The assistant returns an audio reply, usually the spoken text response, which can be played on the Remote device.
Unless I’m misunderstanding it?
Edit: It’s a setting in the voice control section on the remote. Unfortunately, it’s not particularly loud even on full volume on the remote.
Can you use voice commands to start an Activity running?

You can, but only through Home Assistant. At least as far as I can see.
Voice response works but very low volume. Enable it in settings on the remote.
Thanks. Would have thought that would have been a ‘native’ integration on the R3 without the need for HA but maybe that is coming.
