Since the start of reservations, we have received an overwhelming interest for Remote Two. So much in fact that it was multiple times more than our whole Kickstarter batch. We did what we could with our available resources to make remotes and fulfil reservations, but as you have probably noticed this approach led to long wait times until we could process a reservation, even from 2022.
In the search for a solution that would not compromise our independence and allow us to speed up the production, we have realised that we have already done this with Kickstarter before. Kickstarter is a trusted platform for launching products and provides a safe and transparent way for everyone to follow the production.
We’ll be launching a Kickstarter campaign in the next two weeks, just after we have released the long awaited Bluetooth support (as public beta first). It does not mean that we’ll ship right away after the campaign ends, as it will take a few months to order parts and get a larger production batch manufactured, but it will significantly speed up deliveries to everyone who reserved and even beyond.
