We had a power outage here, and when everything came back online the Remote3 has been unable to get in touch with my Denon AVR and all activities involving it fail to launch.
I’ve tried to re-run the configuration and reset it. But nothing seems to stick, and the remote refuses to connect to the AVR again. The remote finds the AVR during the re-configuration but when looking at all the entities they show up as “Unknown” carrying no data, resulting in no activities working.
It shows up on my list of connected devices when looking at my routers interface. And when I run the re-configuration process on the Remote 3 web interface it finds the AVR.
Edit:’
For the sake of it, I enabled DHCP on the AVR again, it got a new IP address, and re-configured on the Remote 3, and comfirmed it was the new IP. Same issue persists after rebooting the remote.
it’s a long shot but I had network issues with mine after a power outage, and it turns put the network chip on my model can be defective and drop network connection randomly, I had to service it and teplace that part of the board…
