Is there a way to have the slider control the volume on my Denon AVR while using Apple TV? Ive made an activity using my TV, Denon AVR and Apple TV. When watching content the slider defaults to apple tv volume control, which has no effect on my Denon AVR. Are there any plans to allow customization of the slider?
UC plans to add more options for the slider (Discord)
I don’t own a R3 but if the logic which media player is used is the same as for the volume buttons outside of activities you should try to add the desired media player entity before other media players in the list of entities for the activity as onlyf the first one in the list will be used to control the volume.

I have the same configuration : apple tv and denon, slider has no effect even if i set the volume button to the tv or apple tv or denon.
I don’t understand where to put my denon on the top of list, can you explain it please ?

As it’s not documented by UC which media player is used for the slider meanwhile other users have also reported that it’s linked to the media widget that’s shown on the current page.
In my case I use Apple TV média player widget but the slider as no effect. Juste see a volume bar on the R3 screen with no effect
And the volume commands from the Apple TV itself are working?
Yes volume up / down on R3 is working, only slider didn’t work
Can you try it with an activity that only contains the Apple TV?
I try to make a new activity with only Apple TV and on the screen the media player of Apple TV : same as my main activity, when I touch the slider a volume bar appear with no effect on the Apple TV
I tried to make an activity with only my android tv, slider as totally no effect (no volume bar) and exactly the same if I tried with activity with only my denon.
In all case slider is not working …
Did you activate Chromecast features in Android TV?
