I’ve been getting this icon in the top right constantly for a few weeks now. I was hoping the new software update would solve it, but it’s still happening. The back seems to overheat as well. Anyone know a solution?
That icon means an integration is having an issue connecting and thus why the remote is heating up.
If you tap on the icon it will tell you the status of the integrations to help you troubleshoot which integration is having an issue.

I clicked the icon, and unfortunately it’s every integration I have that says “reconnecting”.
I’ve tried various wifi bands with no luck. I’ve done a factory reset and loaded a backup. It’s made the remote completely useless.
I’m not sure then, sorry. For me it was the Android TV integration and not all of them.
IR entities? Could you reach the web configurator?
IR entities still work (I send them from the remote itself)
The web configurator mostly works but sometimes has connection issues. Sometimes those issues are more extreme than other times. Makes me think it might be the Wi-Fi chip, but the wifi does connect, and I’ve verified that on the router
Update on the status of broken integrations. It seems to be the android integration that brought down everything. Maybe because I’m using the Google tv streamer?
It was working great until it wasn’t. I’ve switched to a Roku, which isn’t ideal, but at least the remote is working now.
